Just 12 minuts away from the Roman Cathedral Basilica S.Giovanni in Laterano, Fabio Guest house is located in one of the most historic areas of Rome, in the Appio – Latino – Tuscolano district among baroque-style 19th-centruy buildings and in a strategic position from where you can comfortably reach the heart and every place of Rome for your sightseeing of Roman ladscapes, parks and places of social, historic and cultural value. These include the Ancient Rome area, the ancient roman roads: via Latina and via Appia, along which the villas of Ancient Rome’s aristocracy, the underground cisterns, the Circus of Maxentius, Colombaria tombs in via Taranto and defensive structures such as he Aurelian walls (Mura aureliane) are still visible today.

The area is well served by a large number of shops, where visitors will find the various chains of major retailers such as Zara, Calzedonia, Intimissimi, Alcott, Camper and Carrera. There are also Rome’s second-hand markets and atmospheric local food markets with a long history, such as in Via Sannio. There are also various bistros and restaurants of excellent quality, as well as pubs, bars and clubs if you want to enjoy the nightlife. There are lots of supermarkets (Conad, Elite), including one (Todis), which is open 24 hours a day. You will have all the main comforts of one of the most nice areas of Rome.

From train stations

From Roma Termini (Train or subway)

For those coming from the Roma Termini station as well as the taxi alternative two different routes are possible: take one of the Trenitalia regional trains from platform 28-29 which stop at Tuscolana station with 48 daily connections at a price of € 1.00 (click here to purchase tickets online) or take subway A towards Anagnina and get off at Pontelungo.

From Tiburtina station (Train)

To get to the Fabio Guesthouse Rome from Tiburtina Station, the best route is definitely that through a train of the regional line and the lines FL1 or FL3, which will take you to Tuscolana Station in ten minutes. If you came from the bus station, just follow the map below to find the train station.

From Airports

From Fiumicino (Train)

The property is located just 10 meters away from the Roma Tuscolana station directly connected to the line FL1 (Orte – Rome Tiburtina – Fiumicino International Airport), which will take you to the Tuscolana station in about 40 minutes for € 8. Tickets can be purchased directly from the Trenitalia self service stations inside the Fiumicino Airport station or you can purchase it online just opening this link. Trains leave every 15 minutes.

From Ciampino Airport (bus + subway)

From Ciampino Airport the easiest way to get to the Fabio Deluxe is certainly the combination of bus and metro that even if you have a transhipment is the one that requires less traveling on foot. Once you leave the airport, just go to the pitch with bus stops in front of the airport exit and wait for the arrival of the bus 520 (every 15 minutes) to take to Tuscolana / Cinecittà (Ma). After getting off the bus the metro to take is a few steps further from the stop, the metro A direction Battistini in about 10 minutes will take you to the Ponte Lungo stop. From here, just take a few steps to get to your destination.

From Roma Termini (bus)

If you want to use the buses from the central station of Roma Termini you can use the bus 85 (Termini – Arco di Travertino) towards Arco di Travertino for 24 stops to the Monselice / Tuscolana stop, or the bus 16 (XX Settembre – Costamagna) towards Costamagna for 13 stops, and get off at Monselice / Tuscolana station. The bus stops of both buses are located at Piazza dei 500 (just in front of Termini Station main exit).

Additional connections

The Fabio Guest House Deluxe is located in a strategic position thanks to the proximity to the Tuscolana train station that provides connections to the entire capital.

The structure is directly connected to the main railway stations of Rome managed by Trenitalia.

Between the main stations: Rome Nomentana, Rome Tiburtina, Rome Termini, Ostiense (metro B interchange, train to Lido di Ostia), Rome Trastevere (from the area of Roman nightlife from which you can reach the San Camillo Hospital and the Villa Pia Clinic ), stop a few meters from the Gemelli Hospital, (a few meters from St. Peter’s Basilica), Rome Balduina, Monte Mario Rome, Rome San Filippo Neri, Rome fair and Leonardo Airport Park of Fiumicino, San Peter.

Take Bus no. 85 from the Monselice/Tuscolana stop for Stazione Termini.

Direct connections with Piazza Risorgimento (Vatican)

Take Bus no. 85 for Stazione Termini or no. 16 for XX Settembre. Get off at the Porta San Giovanni stop and take bus no. 81 until the end of the line.

Direct connection with the EUR district, Colosseum, Baths of Caracalla (Terme di Caracalla) and the Palalottomatica sports centre, which is also used for concerts.

Go to the Pontelungo (MA) stop and take the no. 671 for Nervi/Palazzo Sport.

Direct connections via Roma Ostiense station to and from Turin (Torino Porta Nuova), Salerno, Naples (Napoli Centrale), Aversa, Formia, Latina, Civitavecchia, Grosseto, Follonica, Campiglia, Livorno, Pisa, Viareggio, Massa, Carrara, La Spezia, Sestri Levante, Genoa (Genova Brignole and Piazza Principe stations), Alessandria and Asti.
